Sk8-Cary Skate Park

Sk8-Cary Fall Contest

Monthly Update

Sk8-Cary Master Plan

Community input has been collected and consultants have developed recommendations. As more information becomes available, it will be added to the Master Plan project page.

We started in 2002 as the first public skatepark in Wake County for skateboarders, in-line skaters, and BMX riders. Sk8-Cary is open to the public year-round and offers program facilitated by experienced staff on our 12,000 square-foot course with ramps and other popular skating obstacles. The park is staffed during all operational hours and to run the Pro-Shop. All participants must have a valid waiver on file. Waivers must be filled out at Sk8-Cary by a parent or legal guardian if under 18 years of age. Identification must be provided by person filling out waiver. Sk8-Cary course may close without notice due to moisture on the ramps. Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned pro, enjoy the atmosphere and the course at Sk8-Cary!

Must have an active waiver to step on the course.

Hours of Operation

Monday through Thursday: 3-10 p.m. See schedule for separate BMX and skate/scoot times.
Friday through Sunday: Noon-10 p.m. See schedule for separate BMX and skate/scoot times.
