The Cary Area has been selected by the United States Tennis Association Player Development (USTAPD) as one of two markets in the nation to pilot an Early Development Training Center (EDC) Program. This three year pilot program is designed to increase the base of U10 players, provide more player development opportunities, and will serve as a model for other communities in North Carolina as well as across the nation. The plan is a result of a cooperative partnership between USTAPD, USTA Southern (STA), USTA North Carolina (NCTA), and the Town of Cary.

The Tennis Park will be hosting three EDC Camps this fall including a Jamboree on Saturday, September 24; an Area Camp on October 22; and a State Camp on November 12.  For more information on how to participate in one of these camps, please contact Maria Mood-Brown.
