McCarthy Sweeps Spring Nationals
Kaitlyn McCarthy, 15, cemented herself as one of the top USTA female prospects by winning gold balls in both singles and doubles at the spring nationals in Mobile, AL. McCarthy's ranked the #4 player nationally. Virginia Men and Miami Women capture ACC Tournament Titles
The Virgina men's tennis team continues conference dominance by following their seventh consecutive undefeated conference season with their seventh consecutive ACC Championship. Virgina enters the NCAA tournament as the number one overall men's seed.
10th ranked Miami women win their first ACC Championship by upsetting number two nationally ranked UNC in the semi-finals and then defeating in-state rival FSU in the Championship match. The tournament win propels Miami to a number six national ranking heading into NCAA's.
