Join Resources for Seniors, Inc. and the Cary Senior Center for our annual Health Fair!  Local health and wellness experts, health screenings, pharmacy consultations and more!  Appointments required for some health screenings.  Please register in advance.  Call (919) 469-4081 for more information.

Senior Citizens Day Luncheon
Wednesday, May 6 | 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. | $10 per person

The Town of Cary Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department invites you to attend the Senior Citizens Day celebration!  Fun, entertainment, and a delicious lunch await you at this annual event.  Register by April 21.  Call (919) 469-4081 for more information.

SAS Showchoir Performance FREE  (Ages 50+)
Wednesday, May 6 | 7- 8 p.m. | FREE

The annual evening Senior Day Celebration Concert with VocalMotion, the SAS Show Choir, and Audio Kudzu is always a dynamite performance.  VocalMotion is an all-volunteer show choir sponsored by SAS.  Register by April 28.  Call (919) 469-4081 for more information.

National Fitness Day

Get Moving...Start Improving! On Wednesday, May 27, 2015, an estimated 100,000 older adults across America will participate in the Annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day (NSHFD), the nation's largest annual health and fitness event for older adults.  The Cary Senior Center will be offering an entire morning of demonstrations showcasing the fitness programs currently offered.  Healthy Snacks will be provided!  Register for each demo, see senior brochure page 34 for more details or call (919)469-4081.

General Information

Cary Senior Center, located within Fred G. Bond Metro Park, provides opportunities for ages 55+ to Create Active Retirement Years!  You will enjoy a variety of fitness classes, recreation activities, arts, information & referral, volunteer opportunities, clubs and many other events.  The center is available for you to rent for your private event. The center is within walking distance to Bond Park Community Center and your link to many greenways throughout the park and town.

Hours of Operation

Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
Friday & Saturday: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday: Closed
Cary Senior Center is closed on all Town holidays.
