Citizen Advisory Committees
The Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Advisory Board operates with three committees that advise the Town Council and staff. Committee meeting dates and locations may vary. Athletic Committee
This committee advises the Athletics Division regarding sports rules, issues
and policies. The committee also assists with sports league tryouts.

Cultural Arts Committee
This committee advises the Cultural Arts Division regarding programs, issues and policies, and serves as a link to the various art organizations in Cary. The committee members also make recommendations to the Town Council about funding cultural groups.
Term: 3 years
Members: 12(1 chair, 11 members; 1 of which will be a voting teen representative)
Meetings: 4th Wednesday of each month

Greenway Committee
This committee advised the PRCR park planning staff regarding greenway projects, issues and policies. In addition, the committee assists staff in educating the public about Cary’s greenway program .
Term: 3 years
Members: 12(1 chair, 11 members; 1 of which will be a voting teen representative)
Meetings: 3rd Thursday of each month
