Cary brings home the Gold! That's right! We won! Cary has been named the 2016 Gold Medal Award winner for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management. The American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration (AAPRA), in partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), through the Gold Medal Awards program, honors communities that demonstrate excellence in parks and recreation through long-range planning, resource management, volunteerism, environmental stewardship, program development, professional development, and agency recognition. This award belongs to the entire Cary community. The citizens have invested incredibly in this Town and continue to do so on a daily basis. To see why we brought home the Gold, watch the video below and see if you can spot yourself making Cary shine!
