Parental/Maternity Leave

How long may an employee be absent for parental (maternity) leave?
  • An employee may request up to six months. Requests must be approved by the employee’s department director and the Human Resources Director. In unusual circumstances, please contact your Human Resources Consultant.
Does an employee need to notify anyone other than his/her supervisor regarding parental leave?
