Overview
The Town of Cary is in the process of designing and constructing Fire Station 8.

The station will be located at 408 Mills Park Drive, on property owned by the Town of Cary, and will enhance the emergency service response to the western area.

Schedule
Begin Design: Summer 2010
Complete Design: Summer 2011
Begin Construction: Fall 2011
Complete Construction: Fall 2012

Details

• The Town has budgeted $3,527,378 to construct this project.
• The project includes a 14,860 square foot, two-story building and site improvements:
• A 13,700 square foot fire station with 3 apparatus bays, office space and living quarters.
• A 1,160 square foot police satellite office will be co-located within the building.
• This will be a “green build” pilot project.
