Risk Management
The mission of the Cary Fire Department's Risk Management Group is to reduce the potential risk of personal injury and property damage to the community and environment. Our mission will be achieved through an economical and prudent approach to public fire education and the practical application of codes and standards.
The group employs a total staff of 11 state-certified fire inspectors. This includes one fire marshal, two deputy fire marshals, two full-time fire inspectors, five temporary/part-time inspectors, and one public fire and life safety educator.
