Sidewalks Projects
Each year the Town Council establishes a priority list of locations for annual sidewalk projects that have been requested by citizens and the Police Department. The annual sidewalk priority list considers a number of factors including safety, use, need, and constructability.

Requests for sidewalks must be accompanied by a petition signed by at least 70 percent of homeowners within the "area of influence" as noted in the Town's Policy Statement No.135. The Planning Department will provide a map and addresses for the area of influence.
To report a damaged sidewalk, please email Public Works at PWUTCustomerservice@townofcary.org or call (919) 469-4090.
