Winter Creeps Into Cary Overnight; Citizens Advised to Use Caution

The snow is cold, the ground is warm, and winter is making its debut in Cary. The Town of Cary’s A-Team is attacking slick spots to keep the streets safe. Should enough snow accumulate, the A-Team treats and clears thoroughfares first followed by primary roads in subdivisions, then thru-streets in subdivisions and then cul-de-sacs; the Town does not clear private parking lots, including those in apartment and condominium complexes or at businesses and commercial centers. Citizens are encouraged to check the roads via WINK, the Town’s 24/7 traffic monitor system. For more information and inclement weather tips, search “Winter Weather” at www.townofcary.org.
