Cary Town Hall Campus Now Permanent Home to Pill Drop Box

Cary citizens no longer have to wait to properly dispose unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter pill medications. Located inside the Town of Cary Police Department lobby, 120 Wilkinson Avenue, the box is accessible Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; no appointment is necessary. In 2012, the Town of Cary collected over 700 pounds of unused medications through its biannual Operation Medicine Drop, which will continue twice a year even with the new permanent box.
