The "Jimi Hendrix of the Violin" Returns to Cary for Intimate, Indoor Concert
Few Tickets Remain for Eileen Ivers Marvelous Music Series Performance
CARY, NC – The Town of Cary is pleased to announce the return of Grammy-winner Eileen Ivers & Immigrant Soul on at 7:30 p.m. on February 18 at the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Avenue in downtown Cary. The world-renown Irish fiddler and her band will play its most popular songs, including music from the new multimedia concert, Beyond the Bog Road. Only a handful of tickets remain and can be purchased at www.etix.com, the eTix Phone Center at 1-800-514-3849, or in person at the Cary Arts Center Box Office, Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; if available, tickets may be purchased at the door.
“This is a great opportunity to see a unique genre of music performed live in the intimate setting of Cary Arts Center,” said Sarah Preston, Performing Arts Coordinator. Preston noted that Ivers first performed in Cary in 2003 at the Town’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre.
Remaining concerts in the 2011-2012 Marvelous Music Series include a sold-out performance by the Vienna Boys’ Choir on March 8; and It Takes Two: An Evening with Lauren Kennedy and Alan Campbell on June 15.
