Cary Scares Up Howlin' Good Fun
The Town of Cary has planned seven days of tricks and treats as part of its annual Howlin’ Good Halloween. The spooky fun starts at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, where classic thrillers run nightly October 23-27 as part of the Reel-ly Scary Cary Movie Series. Activities move downtown starting October 26, when citizens can register for the Haunted Twilight Tour of Downtown Cary guided by the Cary Players; other downtown Halloween events sponsored by the Town include the Tricks-N-Treats Bash and Haunted House on October 27 and “More Mysteries and Secrets: Exploring Cary-Area Cemeteries” on October 30. The Town will cosponsor an indoor Trick or Treat as part of the annual Safe-N-Sane Halloween at the Cary Towne Center on October 31. Citizens are reminded that the Town of Cary does not regulate whether or when Halloween is recognized; most families in Cary go door-to-door in costumes for candy and fun on October 31, regardless of the day of the week. For a full list of activities in detail, search “Halloween” at www.townofcary.org or call (919) 469-4061.
