Traffic Alert - Davis Drive at Waldo Rood

CARY, NC -- Motorists using Davis Drive in central Cary should be aware that students at Davis Drive Elementary and Middle schools will begin crossing Davis Drive at the Waldo Rood Boulevard traffic light instead of the old Collins Road crossing beginning Tuesday, January 17. The crossing guard will be stationed at the new crossing, which is signalized and striped for pedestrian travel. The change is being made to help ensure the safety of the guard and children along the heavily traveled road.
