Teens Travel 'Round the World at Annual Cary Teen Forum
Registration Still Open

CARY, NC – Triangle teens will experience cultures from all corners of the globe at the Cary Teen Forum: Around the World in 4.5 Hours; this 7th annual event, scheduled for Saturday, April 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Herbert C. Young Community Center, 101 Wilkinson Ave, will be an exhilarating experience to inform teens of events and history that has happened throughout the world we live in today.  The interactive seminars will give teens the opportunity to make a European treat and learn the martial art of TaeKwon Do. It continues with a lesson in Latin rhythm and African music. Fashion and sports from each area of the world will be highlighted. Lunch is included, and all pre-registered participants will receive a free t-shirt.

“This conference offers teens a unique experience to encounter different aspects of different countries from the comfort of their own community, “said Assistant Community Supervisor Cindi King. “The forum is planned by teens for teens, giving adolescents an inviting atmosphere to learn and explore together.”

Advanced Registration is still open for teens: $10 for pre-registered Cary residents and $13 for pre-registered non-residents. Fees increase by $5 when registering the day of the event. To register, log on to EZ-REG (course code 44730), or call 462-2017.
