Triangle Wind Ensemble to Appear in Cary

CARY, NC – As part of the Town of Cary’s Summer Sertoma Series, the 45 members of the Triangle Wind Ensemble (TWE) will perform at Bond Park%u2019s Sertoma Amphitheatre, 801 High House Road, on June 13 at 6 p.m. This free outdoor concert will feature a sampling of the ensemble’s favorite pieces from this season’s repertoire.

“Music lovers of all ages are invited to pack a picnic and enjoy the music and fun our annual Summer Sertoma Series offers,” said Performing Arts Coordinator Sarah Preston. 
  
The Triangle Wind Ensemble was founded in 1999 to provide the area’s most talented adult amateur wind and percussion instrumentalists with the very best performance opportunities.  TWE’s outstanding performances and innovative programming have earned the ensemble an outstanding reputation throughout North Carolina.

Remaining concerts in the Summer Sertoma Series include: Triangle Brass Band Concert (June 26); Independence Eve Celebration with Applause! Youth Theatre and the Cary Town Band (July 3); and the Triangle Brass Band Concert (July 17).
