Really Terrible Orchestra of the Triangle Closes Spring Sertoma Series

CARY, NC – Prepare for the musically unexpected with a grand performance by the Really Terrible Orchestra of the Triangle (RTOOT), the last concert of the Town of Cary’s Spring Sertoma Series, set for Sunday, May 16 at 3 p.m. The Sertoma Series features the best in free, live outdoor entertainment and all concerts held at the Sertoma Amphitheatre at Bond Park, 801 High House Road.

“Every RTOOT concert is packed with family-friendly fun and humor, making it an ideal performance to close out our Spring Sertoma Series,” said Sarah Preston, Performing Arts Coordinator.

From a humble beginning in 2008, RTOOT has grown into a 60-piece symphony orchestra with a mission to reach out to the entire music community, regardless of individual expertise. The organization’s bizarre performances tend to attract the entire community who enjoy a good show and may never otherwise be lured inside a symphonic concert hall.

In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held on the same date and time at the Kiwanis Shelter, also in Bond Park.

Concerts at Sertoma Amphitheatre will begin again on June 5 with the first of five free concerts in the Summer Sertoma Series; the first concert will be a performance by the Triangle Brass Band.
