Third Suspect Charged in Cary Shooting
CARY, NC – The Town of Cary Police Department arrested Gustavo Angel Centeno, 19, over the weekend with assistance from the Raleigh Police Department; Centeno is charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and one count of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling in the April 24 shooting that injured two men near the Mobile Estates Trailer Park in Cary. The investigation is continuing and more charges are expected in this case.
On Saturday, April 24, police were called to a report of shots fired at the intersection of Waco and Stone streets in Cary. Two victims were transported to WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh. A third victim was treated at the scene.
