Cary Police Arrest Suspect in Early Morning Shooting
CARY, NC – Cary Police have arrested Daniel Lawrence Olvera, 20, of Raleigh in the early morning shooting that injured two men near the Mobile Estates Trailer Park in Cary just after 3 a.m. Olvera has been charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. The investigation is continuing and more charges are expected in this case.
On Saturday, April 24, police were called to a report of shots fired at the intersection of Waco and Stone streets in Cary. Two victims, whose names have not been released, were transported to WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh. A third victim was treated at the scene.
