Cary Announces Schoolz Out 411 Summer Edition to Cure the Boredom Blues
Town’s Parks and Recreation facilities to offer a variety of experiences for children
CARY, NC – The Town of Cary’s Schoolz Out 411 Summer Edition Brochure is fresh off the press and filled with full and half-day camps, specialty classes and unique experiences for youth and teens. Whether your child is on the traditional or year-round calendar, there is something attractive to children of any age and skill level.
“The Town is proud to offer programs that appeal to even the most unique imagination, allowing children to explore and develop their interests into a positive learning experience right here in their hometown,” said Leda Isenhour, marketing specialist with the Town of Cary. “These supplemental programs illustrate why Cary continues to be ranked as one of the best places to raise a family.”
Samples of this edition’s camp and course offerings include: Civil War Experience, Lawn Games of Yesteryear, Cary Clown Comedy Camp, Cary Space Academy, Eco-Adventure Camp and a wide variety of sports camps. The Schoolz Out 411 program offers courses for year-round, traditional school and home-schooled youth and can be used for Track-out, teacher workdays, traditional school breaks and holidays. Programs are planned in half-day, full-day, hourly, week-long or daily increments.
Schoolz Out 411 brochures are available at any Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources staffed facility, Cary area libraries, Cary Chamber of Commerce, Whole Foods of Cary and at the Town of Cary Web site, www.townofcary.org Early registration begins for Cary residents on Thursday, February 4 by EZ-REG mail, Web, or phone. Walk-in registration for residents will begin Thursday, February 11. Beginning Thursday, February 18, non-residents may register by any EZ-REG method. For more information, call (919) 469-4061.
