Suspect Sought in Cary Bank Robbery
CARY, NC –The Town of Cary Police Department is asking for your help in identifying a suspect who robbed the RBC Bank at 2920 Jones Franklin Road in Cary on November 29, 2010. At approximately 12:16 p.m., the suspect confronted bank employees, displayed a black semi-automatic handgun, and directed them to put money in a plastic bag. Upon receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled in a white sedan on Holly Springs Road headed toward Walnut Street. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-40’s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, 180 to 190 pounds, with brown hair and freckles. He was wearing a blue denim shirt, blue jeans.
Anyone near the area during the time of the robbery is encouraged to contact the Town of Cary Police Department at (919) 469-4013 or Cary Crime Stoppers at 226-CRIM(E). Crime Stoppers pays up to $2,500 for the arrest or indictment of those responsible for committing certain types of crimes. All calls will be kept CONFIDENTIAL at caller's request.
