Town of Cary Police Department Release More Details on Search for Suspects in Lochmere Home Burglaries

CARY, NC – The Town of Cary Police Department is looking to identify the man seen in this video as they continue to investigate recent home burglaries in the Lochmere area of town; the man is medium build with short dark hair.   During the overnight hours of January 10, 2010 and January 12, 2010, suspect(s) gained entry into several occupied homes in the Lochmere area of Cary. Stolen property includes televisions, purses, wallets, electronic equipment and jewelry. No one was harmed during the burglaries. So far, no additional cases have been reported.

To help prevent these types of crimes, the Town of Cary Police Department reminds citizens to:

• Keep all doors locked at all times, including garage doors, doors leading into garages, exterior doors and car doors.
• If installed, activate your home alarm system.
• Be watchful of any suspicious or idling vehicles in residential areas, especially at night.
• Call the police with any suspicions.
