More Than 150 Volunteers Needed for Cary's 34th Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival
The South's premier festival is just weeks away and the Town of Cary is now recruiting volunteers to help make it a success for all. The 2010 Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival is scheduled for Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Volunteer roles range from vendor set-up to serving as hospitality assistant to festival greeter and more. Volunteers are needed during the festival from 6 a.m.-7:30 p.m. as well as the day prior from 6-8:30 p.m. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, and must be at least 15 years of age to volunteer without a parent/guardian. School groups, community organizations and clubs are welcome to volunteer. The last day to register is Wednesday, August 25, 2010; walk-up volunteers will also be accepted.
