Missing Cary Teen Reunited with Family
CARY, NC – Just hours ago, missing Cary teen Victoria Huerta, 17, was found and safely returned home to her family on Jerry Drive in Cary. Prior to today, Huerta was last seen on the morning of April 9, 2010 at her residence.
“We are happy to reunite Vicky with her family and that this had a happy ending,” said Captain Michael Williams.
Over the last 11 days, Town of Cary Police had been working with neighboring municipalities to locate Huerta. She had been reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and her parents had placed flyers throughout the Triangle.
While the case is still under investigation, at this time, no charges have been filed.
