In just two weeks, Mayor Harold Weinbrecht and 2009 Hometown Spirit Award winner Alisa Wright-Colopy will announce the winner of Cary’s Hometown Spirit Award during the Cary Town Council’s regular meeting on Thursday, November 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Cary Town Hall, 316 N. Academy Street. Selected from a pool of eight nominees, the winner will receive an award and will be recognized with a plaque at Town Hall. Also, at 5:30 p.m. on November 18 the Town Council will hold a reception in the main lobby of Cary Town Hall (right outside the Council Chambers) in honor of all the nominees.
