Cary Youth Hoops Competition Gateway to National Basketball Hall of Fame

Boys and girls ages 8-13 are invited to register now for the Town of Cary/Cary-Apex Elks “Hoop Shoot” free throw contest to be held  Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 3-6 p.m. at Cary’s Bond Park Community Center, 150 Metro Drive. Over three million youth annually participate across the nation in this free event. Local winners advance to district, state, regional, and national competitions; national champions are enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame. There is no cost to register but all participants must have a copy of their birth certificate to verify age upon registration.
