Town of Cary Police Department Make Arrests in Weekend Home Invasion

CARY, NC – The Town of Cary Police Department has apprehended three suspects in a residential burglary that occurred on May 15. Antonio Robinson, Jr., 20, of Northington Place, Cary, and Ryan Lomnte Harvey-Green, 20, of Church Street, Morrisville, have each been charged with six counts of Robbery with a Firearm, six counts of Kidnapping and one count of First Degree Burglary. If convicted of all charges, they could each receive between 530 months to 2,541 months, or 44 to 211 years, in prison. Stephen Callahan, 19, of Dexterfield Drive, Fuquay-Varina, has been charged with First Degree Aid and Abet Burglary and Aid and Abet Armed Robbery, amounting to 76 to 366 months or six to 30 years in prison. All suspects are currently being held at the Wake County Public Safety Center.

During the overnight hours of May 15, Town of Cary Police responded to a reported burglary in progress on Buck Jones Road. Upon arrival, it was determined masked suspects gained entry through an unlocked door and were holding six people in the residence at gunpoint.  Stolen property included televisions, electronics, video games and cell phones. A victim was taken to WakeMed of Cary for treatment for minor injuries sustained during the incident.

More arrests are expected as the investigation continues. The suspects are described as young black males. During the invasion each had t-shirts wrapped around their heads.

To help prevent these types of crimes, the Town of Cary Police Department reminds citizens to:
- Keep all doors locked at all times, including garage doors, doors leading into garages, exterior doors and car doors.
- If installed, activate your home alarm system.
- Be watchful of any suspicious or idling vehicles in residential areas, especially at night.
- Call the police with any suspicions.
