Cary's First Herbfest Unites Green Thumbs and Chefs
Join garden enthusiasts and culinary artists at the Town of Cary’s First Annual Friends of the Page-Walker Herbfest, Saturday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Page-Walker Arts & History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop. At this free event, visitors can watch live cooking demonstrations by local Cary restaurants and shop local vendors for a wide variety of herbs, crafts and garden products. The Page Educational Garden will be open for tours, and kids will have the opportunity to pot their own flower to take home. Proceeds from the sale of Page-Walker memorabilia at the event will benefit the Friends of Page-Walker Hotel’s ongoing historic preservation, educational and archival efforts. For complete event information, please visit Herbfest at www.townofcary.org or call (919) 460-4971.
