Welcome the Holidays in Cary with Family and Neighbors
November 9, 2010
The Town of Cary will kickoff the holiday season December 4, 2010 with its annual Heart of the Holidays celebration. Throughout the day, events for children and adults will be held at various locations in Cary. Children can mail letters to Santa at Town Hall, go sledding at Bond Park, or make a gift for someone special at the Cary Teen Council’s Santa’s Workshop. Families may enjoy an old-fashioned Victorian Christmas celebration at Page-Walker Arts & History Center, complete with carriage rides around Town Hall, or a live performance of “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus” by the Cary Players. The Official Town of Cary Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and unveiling of the Community Christmas Tree will also take place, complete with a holiday variety show. For a detailed schedule of events, visit Heart of the Holidays at www.townofcary.org or call (919) 469-4061.
