Public Invited to Weigh In on Hazard Mitigation Plan

All interested parties are invited to provide input related to identifying natural hazards within Cary as Town officials review and update the community’s existing Hazard Mitigation Plan. This update is required by the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 to meet disaster assistance qualification requirements. The Hazard Mitigation Plan Update public meetings are scheduled for April 14 and May 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the first floor meeting room gallery in the Page-Walker Arts and History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop.
