SIGNS ON MAYNARD ROAD

Homeowner Keith Ramsey has not been issued a formal Notice of Violation for the sign at 602 SW Maynard Road.

Homeowner David Bowden has received a formal Notice of Violation for the sign at 305 SW Maynard Road, but the Town has not issued fines for the violation. Enforcement of the sign ordinance has been delayed pending a decision by the court in Mr. Bowden’s lawsuit.

Although the Town of Cary’s sign ordinance includes a structure for levying fines for violations, the Town provides homeowners with a period of time to resolve sign issues before proceeding with enforcement. This includes issuing a formal Notice of Violation, which offers information about community standards for signs.
