Since Thursday, January 7, 2010, there have been 18 reports of larceny from Pepsi vending machines in commercial shopping areas in Cary, Raleigh, and Wake Forest. Businesses that appear to be targeted include Food Lion, Kroger, Lowes, and Jiffy Lube.
Most of the incidents have taken place on Wednesday and Thursday nights during the overnight hours; the suspect(s) stole cash.
