Traffic Alert - Cary Parkway
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 5, 2010
From Wednesday, January 6, to Saturday, January 9, the Town of Cary will continue work on both directions of Southeast Cary Parkway from Tryon Road to Holly Springs Road and Southwest Cary Parkway from Hampton Valley Road to High House Road. Each day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., motorists can expect periodic lane closures.
Motorists can also expect intermittent lane closures for no more than 30 minutes on side streets intersecting Cary Parkway between High House Road and Holly Springs Road. One lane of travel will remain open in each direction at all times for all roadways. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following weekday (e.g., Monday's work will occur on Tuesday). The work is necessary as part of the Cary Parkway Pavement Rehabilitation Project.
