Over 150 Volunteers Needed for Annual Spring Daze Arts & Crafts Festival

The Town of Cary is accepting volunteer applications for the 17th Annual Spring Daze Arts & Crafts Festival scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fred G. Bond Metro Park, 801 High House Road.  Volunteer positions include artist assistants, set-up assistants, artist hospitality assistants, information officers, lunch detail, transportation assistants and festival greeters. Volunteers must be over 15 years of age without a parent/ guardian, and school groups and community organizations and clubs are welcome to volunteer. All volunteers receive a commemorative t-shirt for their efforts. Register from the Spring Daze Web page at www.townofcary.org or by calling (919) 462-3862. The deadline is April 22, 2010.
