Patriotic Weekend Set for Cary Citizens
Don your best red, white and blue and join the Town of Cary in celebrating our nation’s birth with two days jam packed with free activities. On Saturday, July 3, festivities begin at the Fred G. Bond Metro Park with the Independence Day Olde Time Celebration. Activities include a parent-child fishing tournament, parade, eating contests, lakeside Olympics and performances by Applause! Musical Theatre Touring Troupe and the Cary Town Band. Celebrations continue to July 4th at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, with a free concert by the Cary Town Band and the NC Symphony and fireworks at dusk.
