15th Annual Cary Kwanzaa Celebration (Free)

Don't miss the 15th Annual Cary Kwanzaa Celebration! Cary Kwanzaa is a communal, cultural celebration that honors African-American people and their heritage. Events at Cary Kwanzaa include musical and performance acts, reflection, a community market and activities for children. During Kwanzaa guests are invited to ponder the Nguzu Saba, or seven powerful principles derived from African heritage: Umoja (Unity); Kujichagulia (Self-Determination); Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility); Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics); Nia (Purpose); Kuumba (Creativity) and Imani (Faith).
