TRAFFIC ALERTS

As part of the Cary Parkway Pavement Rehabilitation project, the Town of Cary will periodically close lanes on the following sections of Cary Parkway on June 8-12 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily.  One lane will remain open in each direction during work hours.  In case of rain, the work will occur on June 13 and June 15.

• Southwest Cary Parkway between Lake Pine Drive and Two Creeks Road/Kilarney Drive ; at the end of each workday, one lane will remain closed in the eastbound direction 

• Southeast Cary Parkway between Holly Springs Road and Tryon Road ; at the end of each workday, one lane will remain closed in each direction 

Also on June 8-10 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, the Town will close one lane of eastbound Tryon Road between New Waverly Place and Ambience Lane .  In case of rain, the work will be postponed to the following day (e.g., Monday’s work will occur on Tuesday).  The lane reduction is necessary for crews to do follow-up maintenance on the sewerline as part of the Tryon Road widening project.

On June 8-July 2 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. weekdays, the Town will temporarily close the right lane of southbound Cary Parkway from Inverleigh Drive to West High Street.  The closing is necessary to install a sidewalk as part of the FY2006 Sidewalk Improvements Project.
