Southwest Cary Parkway

From June 29-July 2, the Town of Cary will continue work on the Cary Parkway Pavement Rehabilitation Project on Southwest Cary Parkway between Lake Pine Drive and Old Apex Road. Each day between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. motorists can expect periodic lane closures and traffic shifts; one lane will remain open in each direction at all times. Also, motorists can expect left-turn restrictions at King George Loop, Colonial Townes Court, Glenbuckley Road, Applecross Drive, Dundalk Way and Tarbert Drive. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following weekday (i.e., Monday's work will occur on Tuesday).

Kildaire Farm Road

The Town will also install a traffic shift on Kildaire Farm Road between the bridge north of Penny Road and Ten Ten Road on Monday, June 29 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.; upon completion all lanes will be shifted into the outer lanes. Crews will continue to shift traffic along this section until completion of the project later this summer. Flaggers will direct traffic while the shifts are being installed.
