TRAFFIC ALERT

 

All lanes of Northeast Maynard Road at East Chatham Street have reopened.  The road had been closed because of a freight train that was stopped on the tracks.

TRAFFIC ALERT

 

All lanes of Northeast Maynard Road are temporarily closed at East Chatham Street because of a freight train that is stopped on the railroad track on Maynard Road .  Police are directing motorists around the area.  CSX crews are working to move the train; however, a timeframe has not been determined.  Delays are expected and motorists on Chatham Street or Maynard Road needing to access Chapel Hill Road are encouraged to take Trinity Road or Academy Street .
