All lanes of Aviation Parkway have reopened. The lanes had been closed following an accident near Lake Crabtree earlier today.

TRAFFIC ALERT

All lanes of Aviation Parkway are temporarily closed near the Lake Crabtree area between I-40 and Evans Road because of an automobile collision.  The road is expected to remain closed through rush hour, and motorists are encouraged to take the Airport Boulevard or Harrison Avenue exits off I-40 to access Chapel Hill Road .
