The Concert Singers comprise more than 180 active singers from all walks of life, and the singers live throughout the Triangle.  The members represent a wide degree of musical experience, from music teachers and professional singers to "shower singers".  Many are talented in instrumental performance, including piano and organ, guitar, brass, woodwinds and percussion. The group also boasts singers skilled in stage musical, opera, plain-song, Renaissance, shape note, barbershop and many other vocal traditions.

The Triangle Wind Ensemble was founded in 1999 to provide the area’s most talented adult amateur wind and percussion instrumentalists with the very best performance opportunities.  Recently the ensemble performed, by special invitation, at the North Carolina Music Educator’s Convention in Winston-Salem .  The ensemble performs six to seven concerts each year throughout the Triangle and maintains a commitment to collaborative efforts with local school music programs and other community ensembles.

“We’re looking forward to commemorating the music that has formed the fabric of America ,” said Sarah Bunch, Performing Arts Coordinator.  “We invite everyone to bring the family out to this special, memorable event.”
