CARY POLICE SEEK SUSPECT, INFORMATION IN PIZZA DELIVERY ROBBERY

 

CARY, NC – After exhausting all leads, the Town of Cary Police Department is asking for your help in locating a suspect who robbed a pizza delivery driver for Amante Gourmet Pizza, 9545 Chapel Hill Road, Morrisville, on December 6, 2007, at 10:45 p.m.; the victim was delivering a pizza to 741 Braniff Drive when an unknown suspect attacked the victim and struck him in the head with an unknown weapon. 

 

Witnesses report that the suspect, who was dressed in all black, ran towards Chevis Drive and got into the driver’s side of a silver or gray Mercedes.  The suspect allegedly stole the victim’s cell phone and an undisclosed amount of cash.

 

“We are asking anyone with any information related to this crime to contact us right away,” said Sergeant Randy Byrd.
