Cary Police Seek Suspect Who Took Two Shots at ABC Store

CARY , NC The Town of Cary Police Department is asking for your help in apprehending a suspect responsible for breaking into the ABC Store, 665 Cary Towne Blvd. , in Cary on June 7, 2009 ; the same suspect allegedly tried to break into the store on June 3.  As shown here in the first part of surveillance footage, the suspect unsuccessfully attempted to break the front glass door with a hammer on June 3.  The end of the footage shows the same suspect breaking into the rear of the business on June 7 via the rear security door and proceeding inside.  Once inside, the suspect took an unknown amount of alcoholic beverages and left the area.

The suspect is described as a white male who was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, khaki shorts and a black mask.

“We’re asking anyone who has information about the suspect or the burglary to contact us,” said Lt. Steve Fonke.
