CARY
GROUPS RECEIVE $29,500 FROM 2008 LAZY DAZE GRANT AWARDS
CARY, NC – Thirty-one Cary-based, non-profit groups received a total of $29,500 as part of the 2008 Lazy Daze Grant Awards from the Town of Cary during a reception held on January 22, 2009, at the Page-Walker Arts & History Center in downtown Cary. Each year, the Town’s Lazy Daze Committee selects award recipients from a pool of applicants based on a single project they would like to have funded. More than 35 groups applied for this year’s funding.
