Since Tuesday, May 5, 2009 , the Town of Cary has received nine reports of larcenies of heating and air copper wire at new homes under construction in the Stonewater Subdivision near High House Road and N.C. Highway 55.  Most of the crimes occurred during the overnight hours. 

To help prevent these types of crimes, the Town of Cary Police Department reminds citizens to contact police to report any suspicious activity or persons near construction sites after 7 p.m.
