CRIME ALERT

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

– CRIME ALERT –

   

During the past week, the Town of Cary has received five reports of larcenies from unlocked vehicles in the area near High House Road and Davis Drive .  Most of the crimes occurred during the overnight hours.  Targeted items included GPS units, purses, cameras, and cash.

 

The suspect is described as a white male, 15-18 years old, blond hair, 150 pounds and 5 feet 10 inches tall.  Witnesses report that the suspect was carrying a book bag to contain the stolen items, and he may be driving a red Geo Metro. .  He is allegedly accompanied by a second, unidentified male. 

To help prevent these types of crimes, the Town of Cary Police Department reminds citizens to contact police to report any suspicious persons or activity near their homes.
