– CRIME ALERT –

   

On May 17, 2009 , the Town of Cary received eight reports of burglaries at the following businesses:

 

•           Releve' Dance Wear            280 Meeting Place, Suite 105

•           Best Taylors                            280 Meeting Place, Suite 107

•           Sew You Like It                      655 Cary Towne Blvd.

•           Sprits Pub                              701 E. Chatham St.

•           Jax and Co. Salon                590 E. Chatham St.

•           Color Collaborations            133 Weston Parkway

•           Lucky Pot                               2874 Kildaire Farm Road

•           Kinder Care                           1118 SE Maynard Road

 

Most of the crimes occurred during the overnight hours, and the suspect(s) stole cash. Police believe the suspect(s) may be traveling by bicycle.

 

To help prevent these types of crimes, the Town of Cary Police Department reminds business owners not to leave money in their businesses overnight.  Also, citizens and business owners should contact police to report any suspicious persons or activity.
