COMMENT PERIOD OPENS FOR cary ’s amended fy2009 cdbg action plan

Citizens are encouraged to share their comments on Amendments to the Town of Cary’s FY2009 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan. The Town is amending its FY2009 Annual Action Plan to identify projects or programs that will utilize additional funding made available under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Cary is to receive $122,433 in CDBG Recovery funds, based on the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s allocation formula.

All comments must be received by May 28, 2009 in order to be evaluated and considered for incorporation into the amended FY2009 Annual Action Plan. Citizens may review the FY2009 Annual Action Plan at www.townofcary.org or in hard copy at the Planning Department, located on the third floor of Cary Town Hall .
