On Friday, August 28, the Town of Cary will temporarily close the median and left turn lanes of Southwest Cary Parkway at Waldo Rood Blvd. and Bebington Drive from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. for intersection improvements. During this time, left turns will be restricted at Southwest Cary Parkway, Waldo Rood Blvd. and Bebington Drive. Electronic Message Signs and Flaggers will direct traffic around the work area.

On Saturday, August 29, the Town of Cary will temporarily close Waldo Rood Boulevard from Southwest Cary Parkway to Towne Village Drive from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. for intersection improvements. Motorists are encouraged to take the signed detour from Southwest Cary Parkway to Towne Village Drive to Waldo Rood Boulevard. Electronic Message Signs and Flaggers will direct traffic around the work area. In case of inclement weather, the road closure will be postponed to Monday, August 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The two closings are necessary as part of the Cary Parkway Pavement Rehabilitation Project.
