Motorists can expect periodic lane closures on North Academy Street between Cedar Street and the Train Depot driveway, Wednesday, July 8 – Friday, July 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The closures are necessary for crews to continue work on the North Academy Street railroad crossing improvement project. Flaggers will direct traffic through the area.

Also, CSX Transportation will repair a railroad crossing gate on Southwest Cary Parkway today through Friday, July 10 that was damaged last week on the westbound approach near Old Apex Road . Traffic will be maintained in each direction of Southwest Cary Parkway during the crossing gate repair work.
